It Must Be Going To Rain. The Cat Is Washing Behind His Ears.

I think it might be a myth.

When we were young, adults said if the cat washes behind its ears, rain is coming.
Do they sense a change in the atmospheric pressure? It’s possible.
Ask anyone with a dicky knee. They know.

"Too late," I tell him, "It's been raining for the past four days, Mr. Splinter, while you were tucked up in your cat cave by the heater."

“Too late,” I tell him, “It’s been raining for the past four days, Mr. Splinter, while you were tucked up in your cat cave by the heater.”

When we moved to a new house with our cat in tow, we always put butter on its feet when we arrived.

The theory being licking the butter is an enjoyable taste, and the cat would conclude that this is a good place to live.

On this theory I can attest: we never had a cat run away from home.

I guess it must be true.

YAY! Medium Paid For The Half The Kitty Litter.

April was a very busy month for me, blogging, and we were successful in attracting lots of new readers. YAY Medium paid for half the kitty litter

A ginger and white cat, probably a feral in Turkey, sitting on top of a post, washing behind his ears.
